Ayurveda Alt Empordà - A classical training at the source
Narayan Yadav graduated in Āyurveda from the University with a Bachelor of Āyurvedic Medicine (BAMS) — one of the most rigorous and comprehensive qualifications in classical Āyurvedic medicine.
The training includes the direct study of the founding texts of the tradition — the Charaka Samhita, the Sushruta Samhita and the Ashtanga Hridayam — alongside years of supervised clinical practice. A formation that combines deep theoretical grounding with real experience of working with people.
After training in India, Narayan has been practising Āyurveda in Europe for a number of years. The Alt Empordà — with its Mediterranean climate, natural landscape and distinctive quality of light — offers an environment that is particularly well-suited to natural medicine and to welcoming people from across Europe.
The approach: the person, not the symptom
In every consultation, the starting point is the same question: who are you? Not what hurts, not what worries you — who you are.
Āyurvedic medicine is rooted in the conviction that health is not a universal state that looks the same for everyone, but a particular balance that is unique to each person. What brings you into equilibrium may push someone else with the same diagnosis out of it. That is why Āyurveda does not apply generic protocols — it builds a plan from your nature.
In a consultation with Narayan, the time is devoted to understanding you. Through the analysis of your constitution (Prakriti) and your current state (Vikriti), a complete picture of how your body functions is built together. The recommendations you leave with are yours — not taken from a textbook.
Āyurveda and conventional medicine: an integrative view
Āyurveda does not compete with conventional medicine. It complements it. In every consultation, Narayan works in coherence with any medical treatments the person may already be receiving, offering a different perspective — not an alternative that replaces their existing care.

Yes. Āyurveda is a traditional system that uses natural methods and, when practised by trained professionals, is considered safe. At Tejas Āyurveda we use techniques and medicinal plants oriented towards supporting balance and wellbeing.

Yes. Āyurveda works alongside conventional medicine, not in its place. In every consultation, Narayan works in coherence with any treatments you may already be following.
How long does it take to notice results?
It depends on each person and their situation. Some people notice changes after the first consultation. Others experience a more gradual process. Āyurveda works at a deep level — real balance builds over time.
Do I need to prepare before the consultation?
No special preparation is needed. You will receive a short questionnaire before your session — taking a few quiet minutes to fill it in thoughtfully is the best preparation.
Are the consultations personalised?
Completely. Every consultation begins with an analysis of your individual constitution (Prakriti) and your current state of balance (Vikriti). The recommendations you receive are built specifically for you.
